Residents Fest 2016 Front CoverThe Northumberland Resident’s Festival is an annual event which encourages local people to visit attractions and then become ambassadors for the county. The event is usually held just before the start of the main visitor season at the end of March or early April and involves attractions such as Bamburgh Castle, Alnwick Castle, Housesteads Roman Fort and Cragside opening their doors to Residents of Northumberland for free or a reduced cost.

The 2016 festival weekend will take place on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 March 2016. The festival is organised annually by Active Northumberland and Northumberland County Council in partnership with leading visitor attractions.
